Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about healthcare operations? Lakeshore Talent is  seeking a dynamic Credentialing Specialist to join a fast-paced, collaborative client during an exciting period of growth and organizational transformation. This contract position offers a competitive pay rate of $25-$28/hour and provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring providers are credentialed accurately and efficiently.

Duration: 3–6 Month Contract (Full-Time)
Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday & Thursday) | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Lafayette, CO
Pay Rate: $25–$28/hour
 

In this role, you will be the backbone of provider onboarding, managing end-to-end credentialing processes, handling Medicaid and Medicare enrollments, and verifying primary source documentation. Your strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail will be vital as you liaise directly with providers and maintain all credentialing records within tight timelines in a supportive team environment.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in provider credentialing
  • Proven expertise with Medicaid & Medicare enrollment processes
  • Experience with primary source verification of licenses and certifications
  • Familiarity with credentialing databases and document tracking systems
  • Proficiency with DocuSign or similar electronic signature tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, especially when working directly with providers

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of payer enrollment procedures beyond Medicaid & Medicare
  • Prior experience supporting high-volume onboarding or re-credentialing projects

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration, health information management, or related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of credentialing experience in a healthcare setting

Other Requirements:

  • This hybrid role requires in-office presence twice a week at our Lafayette, CO location
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team-oriented environment and manage multiple deadlines
