Job Title: Specialist, Organizational Development (Contract)
Location: Hybrid, Denver, CO
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, onsite on Mondays weekly
Compensation: $50 – $65/hour
Contract Length: 6 months with potential for extension
Start Date: Mid-May preferred
Overview
Lakeshore Talent is seeking an Organizational Development Specialist to support organizational health by strengthening labor cost governance, ensuring structural integrity, and enabling effective organizational design for one of our Denver-based partners.
This role is delivery-focused and plays a key part in stabilizing and improving governance processes and organizational structure following a recent reorganization. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across complex systems, data, and stakeholders to drive clarity and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Labor Cost Governance Operations, Reporting & Reviews

Ensure labor cost governance processes are applied consistently in alignment with established frameworks and approval pathways

Review submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards

Monitor approved organizational and labor cost changes, identifying risks and variances

Produce regular reporting on trends, exceptions, and areas requiring intervention

Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and related teams to resolve discrepancies impacting labor cost visibility

Support continuous improvement of governance tools, templates, and reporting processes
Organizational Structure Reconciliation & Resolution Facilitation

Reconcile organizational structures across systems of record, approved designs, and reporting hierarchies

Identify misalignments, data integrity issues, and structural inconsistencies

Facilitate resolution discussions with HR partners and business stakeholders

Track decisions, actions, and outcomes to ensure sustained alignment

Contribute to improving enterprise practices for organizational data integrity
Organizational Design Health & Effectiveness Reviews

Analyze organizational data related to structure, span of control, layers, and role clarity

Support diagnostics to identify strengths, risks, and performance-impacting issues

Prepare insights and materials for leadership and HR discussions

Track follow-through on actions from organizational effectiveness reviews

Partner with workforce insights and HR teams to strengthen understanding of organizational health metrics
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred)

Experience in HR, organizational development, workforce planning, or similar function

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data

Working knowledge of organizational design, labor cost governance, or workforce planning concepts

Experience working within structured systems, processes, and governance frameworks

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to create executive-ready reporting

Experience with organizational structure tools (e.g., Orgvue or similar) is a plus
