Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a respected Day Center program in Aurora, CO. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide hands-on care and support for elderly participants in a collaborative and compassionate team environment.


Position Details

  • Title: Day Center CNA

  • Location: 750 E 6th St, Richmond, VA 23224

  • Pay: $19.76-$22.74/hr

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Interview: One 30-minute virtual interview via Microsoft Teams


Requirements

  • Active and valid state-issued Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

  • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)

  • Acceptable vendors: American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience with EPIC software is required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience caring for frail or elderly adults in a group or day center setting

    • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply


    Position Overview

    The Day Center CNA provides restorative and supportive care to participants at an Adult Day Health Center. This includes assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), supporting mobility, monitoring health changes, and ensuring participants’ comfort and dignity throughout the day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist participants with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and mobility.

    • Follow individualized care plans and document all care provided per policy and regulation.

    • Observe and report changes in participants’ health, behavior, or functional ability to the supervising RN.

    • Provide restorative care, including ambulation, positioning, skin care, and oxygen support.

    • Support mealtime and feeding assistance, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

    • Assist with participant transport, including loading/unloading and acting as a bus attendant during trips.

    • Participate in group and one-on-one activities in accordance with the daily activity calendar.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for participants.

    • Attend required training, in-services, and continuing education programs.

    • May occasionally rotate into In-Home Services as a Homecare CNA as needed.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Manager.


    Onboarding Requirements

    • Drug screen (4-panel)

    • Background check

    • BLS and First Aid Certification required on Day 1
