Lakeshore talent is in search of a dynamic and mission-driven Center Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader to take full ownership of a high-impact adult day outpatient center in Sacramento, CA. The Center Director serves as the strategic and operational leader of the site—driving performance, supporting a passionate team, ensuring regulatory excellence, and championing an exceptional participant experience. This role requires onsite presence and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of aging adults and their families.
Pay Range: $146,000- $189,800
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm (up to 10% travel)
Location: Fully onsite in Sacramento
About the Role
As the Center Director, you will oversee all aspects of center operations, leading multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high-quality care, operational excellence, and a culture grounded in compassion and accountability. You’ll guide the center through strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding outcomes for participants and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead performance across five core pillars:
- People – Build and support an engaged, motivated workforce
- Service – Ensure exceptional participant satisfaction
- Quality – Maintain compliance and high standards of care
- Growth – Support census growth and community presence
- Financial – Contribute to budget planning and achieve fiscal targets
- Implement standardized workflows and drive continuous process improvement.
- Develop and communicate policies and procedures that support clarity and operational consistency.
- Oversee day-to-day center operations, including facility safety, equipment needs, and cleanliness.
- Maintain strict adherence to licensing, certification, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with IT and operational partners to incorporate tools and technologies that optimize outcomes.
- Participate in leadership committees, collaborative initiatives, and strategic planning efforts.
Team & Culture Leadership
- Provide motivating and supportive leadership to all direct reports and staff.
- Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, recognition, and corrective action processes.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture rooted in respect, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Conduct regular team meetings, leadership check-ins, and communication forums to ensure alignment.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams in sales, transportation, home care, and network management.
- Oversee food service operations including staffing, training, purchasing, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of healthcare experience
- 10+ years of management or leadership experience
- At least 1 year working with frail or elderly populations
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Bilingual proficiency
Compensation & Benefits:
