Lakeshore Talent is currently hiring on behalf of Merritt Trailers for a motivated and mechanically inclined Service & Sales Estimating Coordinator to support service operations and customer solutions in Henderson, Colorado.

Are you someone who enjoys building customer relationships, solving mechanical challenges, and driving service sales? This role plays a key part in generating service revenue, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring technicians receive clear, actionable instructions before work begins.

Based in Henderson, CO, this position offers a competitive starting pay rate of $24.75 per hour, along with incentives tied to sales performance. The role includes a combination of office responsibilities and field work, with approximately 3–4 days per week spent visiting customers primarily within 100 miles of Denver, with occasional extended travel as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Generate service sales and develop accurate repair estimates for trailers and heavy equipment
  • Provide detailed, clear directives to technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion
  • Conduct physical inspections inside trailers and equipment to assess repair needs
  • Collaborate with team members focused on growth and hitting sales targets

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years experience in service estimating, service writing, heavy equipment repair, trailer repair, or related fields
  • Strong mechanical understanding of trailers and heavy equipment systems
  • Proven ability to sell service work and close quotes effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with CRM and ERP systems such as Pipedrive and Karmak
  • Ability to physically inspect equipment and work outdoors comfortably
  • High School diploma or GED required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Background in transportation, agriculture, or equipment service environments
  • Experience with inside trailer inspections or similar mechanical assessments

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years in service estimating or related mechanical service roles

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license meeting MVR guidelines (as driving a company vehicle is involved)
  • Background check and 9-panel drug screening (no THC)
  • Willingness to undergo hands-on training and onboarding at the Henderson location
