Employee Experience Systems & Automation Specialist (Contract)
Location: Colorado (Hybrid – onsite Mondays required)
Pay Rate: $50–$75/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 6 months (potential for extension or conversion)
Start Date: Mid-May


About the Opportunity
Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a global organization to identify an Employee Experience Systems & Automation Specialist to support a newly established team focused on building and scaling employee experience initiatives.

This is a highly technical, behind-the-scenes role ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, optimizing processes, and building automation from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in designing workflows, developing reporting tools, and implementing AI-enabled solutions that drive efficiency and scalability across the function.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize workflows and process automations to improve efficiency and cross-functional collaboration

  • Develop and maintain data analysis tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track employee experience trends and KPIs

  • Create and enhance Excel-based tools, including advanced formulas, automation, and light coding solutions

  • Build and manage SharePoint content, including intranet pages, documentation, and team resources

  • Support enterprise employee listening initiatives, including survey coordination, communications, and reporting

  • Maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams

  • Develop templates, presentations, and documentation to support team operations and program delivery

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort

  • Contribute to building the infrastructure, systems, and processes of a newly formed Employee Experience function

 


Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in data analysis, systems, process improvement, or a highly technical operations role

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to build workflows, automations, and scalable tools from scratch

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with emphasis on:

    • Excel (advanced formulas, automation, data modeling)

    • SharePoint (content management and page creation)

    • PowerPoint and Word

  • Experience with workflow automation and/or AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot or similar)

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and proactively raise questions or challenges

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Experience supporting HR, employee experience, or organizational initiatives is a plus, but not required
