Guest Experience Lead (Guest Experience Leader / Front Desk)
Location: Chicago, IL 60607 (on-site, West Loop)
Duration: contract, 1-2 days at a time depending on need
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay rate: $20/hour
Overview
Our Guest Experience Leaders are the first point of contact for visitors and employees as they enter the office. This role is ideal for someone who brings a warm, polished presence, thrives in a fast-paced professional environment, and enjoys helping things run smoothly at the front desk.
What you’ll do
- Greet visitors enthusiastically and create a welcoming first impression
- Announce guest arrivals to internal employees/teams
- Issue security passes and support basic visitor check-in processes
- Book and manage conference room reservations
- Respond to phone and email inquiries related to visitors and onsite navigation
- Provide occasional onsite support as needed (may include mail and package handling)
What we’re looking for
- Prior receptionist/front desk experience in a high-paced, professional environment
- Strong communication skills and a service-first mindset
- Professional demeanor with the ability to stay organized while multitasking
- High school diploma or equivalent
