Executive Assistant to Chief Legal Officer

Salary Range: $70,000 – $128,000

Bonus Eligibility: Target bonus opportunity available

Location: Downtown Denver, Colorado

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Position Overview

A fast-paced and growing organization is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Chief Legal Officer and Legal Department leadership team. This highly visible role requires a proactive professional who can manage complex executive support responsibilities while handling sensitive and confidential legal and business matters with discretion.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, anticipates needs, manages competing priorities effectively, and serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex administrative and legal support functions are essential for success in this role.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in:

  • Supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments

  • Managing complex executive calendars and travel arrangements

  • Supporting Legal, HR, Operations, or Corporate Administration teams

  • Handling contracts, invoices, budgets, and compliance-related activities

  • Working with legal documentation and contract administration processes

  • Partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Utilizing advanced Microsoft Office and organizational systems

Education

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-level executives

  • Experience supporting legal leadership, general counsel, or senior legal professionals preferred

  • Experience with contract management systems, document management tools, and e-signature platforms preferred

  • Experience supporting executives within mid-sized or large organizations preferred

  • Experience supporting executives within publicly traded organizations preferred

  • Experience handling legal documents, contracts, and sensitive materials

  • Understanding of legal terminology and administrative legal processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendars, appointments, and scheduling priorities

  • Coordinate complex domestic travel arrangements and itineraries

  • Handle phone calls, emails, and executive correspondence

  • Prepare and edit presentations, reports, meeting materials, and documents

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics and agendas

  • Prepare meeting notes and track follow-up items

  • Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders

  • Manage shared department inboxes and coordinate workflow assignments

  • Maintain secure and organized legal files, contracts, and document repositories

  • Review, code, and process department invoices and expense reporting

  • Assist with departmental budget tracking and reporting

  • Support compliance initiatives, audits, and internal controls activities

  • Assist with vendor documentation and insurance-related reviews

  • Track project timelines, status updates, and action items

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and legal information

  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
