Lakeshore Talent is in search of an Enrollment Specialist (Sales) to support a leading healthcare organization serving seniors in the Lakewood, CO area. This is a contract opportunity with potential for contract-to-hire conversion, offering competitive pay, commission opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults and their caregivers.
Position Details
- Location: Lakewood, CO
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $28.00 – $33.60/hour
- Travel: Local travel may be required; reliable transportation, valid Colorado driver’s license, and auto insurance required
Position Overview
This role is ideal for a passionate, outreach-oriented sales professional with healthcare industry experience who enjoys building relationships and guiding individuals through complex enrollment processes. The Enrollment Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for prospective participants and caregivers, helping them navigate documentation, eligibility requirements, and onboarding into healthcare services and programs.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, customer-focused, and experienced in healthcare sales, admissions, intakes, or managed care environments. This position combines relationship management, consultative sales, and community outreach while utilizing mobile CRM technology to remain active in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Potential Participant Inquiry & Outreach – 40%
- Receive and manage qualified referrals from call centers, brokers, and referral partners
- Conduct intake appointments and gather required participant information
- Educate prospective participants, caregivers, and families on available services
- Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, senior living communities, and referral sources
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to move prospects through the enrollment process
- Schedule tours, home visits, and center visits for prospective participants
- Identify opportunities for additional referrals through community outreach and relationship development
Enrollment Process Management – 50%
- Maintain accurate, real-time updates within CRM systems
- Serve as the primary contact throughout the enrollment and onboarding process
- Coordinate collection of required documentation and Medicaid-related information
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate successful enrollments
- Present participant cases to enrollment decision teams
- Conduct home visits and day center visits as needed
- Utilize strong closing skills to successfully convert leads into enrollments
Post-Enrollment Support – 10%
- Ensure smooth transitions for newly enrolled participants
- Coordinate handoffs to interdisciplinary and operations teams
- Support community awareness and relationship-building efforts
- Assist with additional duties to support efficient operations and participant satisfaction
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 2+ years of successful healthcare-focused sales, admissions, intakes, or enrollment experience
- Experience in B2B and B2C healthcare sales environments
- Background working with hospitals, healthcare providers, senior living communities, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, VA benefits, or related healthcare services
- Proven ability to “close” sales and manage a pipeline effectively
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Technical Skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Zoho, Playmaker, or similar systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Social Work, or related field preferred
- Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel locally as needed
Interview Process
- Two virtual interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams
Onboarding Requirements
- Background check including MVR and CAPS screening
- Drug screening (THC excluded)
- Driver’s license, insurance verification, and MVR check
- Completion of onboarding documentation and computer waiver forms
