Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a values-oriented Oil and Gas company in their search for a seasoned Senior Revenue Manager to guide a specialized accounting group focused on key regions across the western and southern U.S. This position holds responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the accounting team, improving and ensuring the efficiency of processes and systems and contributing to analytical strategic decision making. This role offers hybrid flexibility with on-site requirements in their Denver, CO office and is offering a competitive salary of $175,000-$190,000/yr, depending on experience.

 

Key Focus Areas:

  • Offer daily guidance to a dedicated accounting team, ensuring alignment with core organizational principles.
  • Oversee financial inputs related to product sales, making sure all entries align with internal policy and external expectations.
  • Maintain account accuracy with various internal and external parties, including those involving complex calculations and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely monthly reporting and closing processes, with detailed variance and trend analyses.
  • Recommend and implement process refinements, including system enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Deliver insights and forecasts to leadership based on detailed operational data.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and support broader business objectives.
  • Monitor and follow up on payments from third parties, addressing any issues or delays.
  • Supervise regulatory and governmental filings.
  • Support internal and external audit activities and ensure continued adherence to corporate financial policies.
  • Participate in corporate transitions such as acquisitions or system updates, helping to integrate financial data and processes.
  • Act as a professional representative of the department in external communications and engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required), MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated history of managing technical accounting teams in a fast-paced and geographically diverse environment.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in Upstream Oil and Gas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, required
  • Experience with SAP PRA and IFS BOLO, strongly preferred
