Lakeshore is on the search for a Supply Chain Materials Technician to support a leading hospital in Aurora, Colorado. This role will be a 6 week contract to start with high potential for extension or hire, and is paying $19/hr.
Location: Aurora, CO
Contract Length: 6 weeks to start, with high potential for extension or hire
Pay: $19/hr
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Materials Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials, verify against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or defects
- Properly store materials in designated locations, ensuring efficient use of space
- Prepare and package materials for shipment, including labeling and documentation
- Maintain inventory records, including tracking quantities, locations, and movements of materials
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Ordering needed materials and stocking materials as they arrive
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
- Experience with supply ordering and/or stocking, required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
