Lakeshore Talent is looking for a skilled Temporary Worker’s Compensation Specialist to assist our client in Denver in managing workers’ compensation claims effectively.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in adjusting workers’ compensation claims, possess introductory Excel skills, and demonstrate strong writing and general computer skills. 

Job Type: Temporary, 2-3 months
Location: 100% onsite, Downtown Denver
Pay: $35-40/hr

This is an immediate need so candidate must be available to start immediately to be considered. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims.
  • Communicate with injured workers, medical providers, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information.
  • Analyze claim information to make accurate coverage and compensability determinations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed claim files and documentation.
  • Utilize Excel and other software tools to track and analyze claim data.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on claim status and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with state workers’ compensation laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in adjusting workers’ compensation claims.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (introductory level).
  • Some college education preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • General computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and regulations is a plus.
