Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Provider Relations Coordinator  to support the Provider relations team of a healthcare facility in Littleton, CO. This is a hybrid opportunity that requires 2 day/week in office.

This is a well-rounded Coordinator role that is responsible for network development. We are looking for candidates with recent healthcare experience and who can build and maintain provider relationships. Pay for this position is $22-$24/hr, depending on experience.

Position Overview:
The  Provider Relations Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day activities of the provider relations department to help build relationships with potential and current providers as well as implementing innovative, flexible strategies to provide support to the company as a whole. Provider Relations is the main connection point for providers, making it imperative that one is customer service oriented while problem solving as a team to create and maintain a robust network of providers.
 

General Responsibilities:

  • Contacting potential collaborators via phone/email to establish participation agreements
  • Maintaining internal systems by inputting and updating profiles and documentation
  • Clarifying and resolving questions from affiliates and partners across multiple topics
  • Assisting with paperwork related to service processing and coverage documents
  • Evaluating applications and credentials for completeness and fit
  • Communicating with various stakeholders through virtual/in-person channels
  • Managing documentation including scanning, filing, and correspondence tracking
  • Supporting resolution of concerns involving external partners
  • Coordinating specific rate discussions and reviewing contract terms
  • Ensuring documentation quality standards are met
  • Supporting department-specific and organizational requests

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related professional experience
  • Previous administrative experience, required
  • Prior healthcare experience, preferred
  • Strong computer literacy (must be comfortable with business math and be proficient in Excel, Word and other Microsoft computer programs as well as be able to type at least 50 wpm
  • Good knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Basic knowledge of behavioral health insurance terminology and codes, preferred
  • Excellent clerical skills 
  • Pleasant phone presence 
  • Capable of juggling multiple responsibilities while staying organized in fast paced environment
  • Able to think complexly and be solution focused and work with broad direction
