Lakeshore Talent is in Search of a Shipping Technician within a Pharmacy of an organization we are partnering with in Boulder, CO! This is a contract to hire opportunity and a chance to work with a supportive team within the healthcare industry!
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Boulder, CO
Located in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of Boulder
Scope of Work:
The Shipping Technician is responsible for accurately packing and distributing medications while maintaining proper record-keeping for patient and company records.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Order and count shipping supply stock
- Accurately pack all items per order following procedures
- Ensure shipments are sent to the correct address and arrive on time
- Receive and store incoming supplies; verify quantities against invoices and report shortages
- Deliver, or prepare/stage for delivery, pharmaceutical supplies and medications
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacy technicians with inventory receipt
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong data entry accuracy and typing speed
- Ability to navigate pharmacy and shipping software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Multi-tasking capability without sacrificing quality
- Strong reading comprehension and listening skills
- Ability to compile, code, categorize, calculate, and verify data
- Capable of counting, measuring, and weighing pharmaceutical components
- Proficiency in proprietary pharmacy software and shipping/delivery platforms, including but not limited to FedEx, UPS, TForce, and TOMS.
- Prior shipping experience required; pharmacy experience preferred
- PTCB National Certification preferred
Physical & Mental Demands:
- Standing/walking for most of the shift
- Regularly lifting office and clinical supplies up to 5 lbs; occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs
- May require occasional pushing, pulling, climbing step stools, bending, reaching, or twisting
