Director of Affiliate Marketing
Location: Denver, CO or Chicago, IL (Remote with monthly co-working meetups)
Salary: $85,000 – $130,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time | Flexible 9–5 (MT or CT hours)
About the Opportunity
Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing agency in the eCommerce space to hire a Director of Affiliate Marketing.
This role blends strategic ownership with hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both leadership and client-facing environments. You’ll play a key role in driving growth, managing partnerships, and representing the agency within the broader affiliate marketing community.
What You’ll Do
- Own the strategy, performance, and growth of the affiliate marketing channel
- Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, partners, and key stakeholders
- Lead client-facing conversations, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
- Oversee and mentor a team of 4–5 shared resources, with potential for future HR leadership
- Identify and activate new partnership opportunities to expand reach and revenue
- Attend and represent the agency at industry conferences and networking events
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize programs across multiple affiliate platforms
- Lead internal meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and client teams
What We’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years of affiliate marketing experience (open to 5+ years for high-potential candidates)
- Agency experience and an ecommerce focused background required
- Proven success managing affiliate programs and driving measurable growth
- Strong network within the affiliate/publisher space
- Experience across multiple affiliate platforms
- Highly extroverted, relationship-driven, and energized by networking
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Comfortable in a client-facing, conference-heavy role
- Proactive mindset with a track record of bringing new ideas and opportunities to the table
- Proficiency with Google Suite and affiliate marketing tools
