Job Title: Part-time HR Administrative Assistant
Pay: $27–$30/hour
Schedule: 24 hours/week (flexible), Remote
Contract Length: 12 weeks | Start Date: Early May

About the Role
Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a client to hire a Part-Time HR Support professional for a fully remote, short-term contract opportunity. This role will provide critical administrative and compliance support to a small HR team while their HR Manager is on leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational HR experience who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and supporting compliance-driven HR functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and distribution of the company’s mid-year HR newsletter

  • Monitor and document updates to employment laws and ensure accurate internal records

  • Support development and updates of HR e-guides related to regulatory changes

  • Assist with Leaves of Absence, including FMLA and state-specific paperwork

  • Provide support with E-Verify, including password resets and troubleshooting for users

  • Coordinate and schedule required harassment prevention training

  • Provide general HR administrative support to the team as needed

 


Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of HR experience, preferably in an administrative or support capacity

  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance processes

  • Experience supporting LOA/FMLA processes is strongly preferred

  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Reports into HR leadership during a leave coverage period

  • Ideal for someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
