Lakeshore Talent is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a full-time contract opportunity in Aurora, Colorado. This role is responsible for storing, staging, packing, and distributing food products within a warehouse environment while ensuring inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced distribution setting.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for storing, staging, and packing food products, fulfilling government food orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are received, stored, and distributed efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay Rate: $22.60 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract Length: Through Mid-August 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Store, stage, and pack food products for distribution
- Keep pick locations stocked and organized, including restacking and rearranging products for maximum efficiency
- Pull and prepare delivery orders accurately and on schedule
- Verify order accuracy prior to shipment
- Restock inventory according to established food storage guidelines
- Assist with training and supporting warehouse volunteers
- Accurately gather and enter data into the Ceres ERP system
- Safely load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Move products to designated storage and distribution locations
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed
- Correct order selection errors and rebuild orders when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures
- Secure the distribution area at the end of each shift
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and data entry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods and walk throughout the workday
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks
- Push and pull pallets weighing up to 2,000 pounds using manual pallet jacks
- Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Work in warehouse conditions where temperatures may vary, including cold environments
- Use computers and standard office equipment as needed
