Lakeshore Talent is seeking a Division Order Analyst for one of our upstream oil and gas clients in Denver.
Location: Corporate Office – Denver, CO (Downtown)
Possible hybrid work considered in the future
Pay: $35 – $50 per hour depending on experience
This is a 4-6 month contract and could be extended
Paid onsite parking
Experience & Education
-
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Software & Technical Skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with industry ERPs (Enertia preferred)

Familiarity with Salesforce and other relevant technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications

Solid understanding of oil and gas industry standards, market trends, and accounting principles

Knowledge of land and revenue processes, including title analysis and ownership verification

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional communication skills for working with internal departments and external stakeholders

Demonstrated persistence and a growth mindset

Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze title documents, including leases, contracts, and division orders to verify ownership and interests in oil and gas properties

Confirm and calculate ownership percentages for royalty owners, mineral rights holders, and working interest partners

Maintain and update division order databases with ownership data, production figures, and other relevant information
-
Communicate with mineral owners, joint venture partners, and stakeholders to resolve inquiries and disputes regarding revenue distribution

Reconcile discrepancies in ownership and revenue to ensure accurate and timely payments
-
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to improve and streamline revenue distribution processes
